FLORIDA—Singles from the Dade City congregation hosted dozens of seniors for a filet mignon dinner on January 11, an event that also included a Bible study, witticisms from one of the seniors, and a video presentation featuring Herbert W. Armstrong, Gerald Flurry and the Young Ambassadors. The gourmet meal was prepared by brethren in the local congregation. Member Mark Smith, who organized the event, said that the highlight was “seeing the youth being so excited to serve that they were running back to the kitchen to get more plates so they could go back out and serve the seniors.” A total of 45 seniors attended from the Georgia South, Florida South, and Florida Central congregations.
