EDMOND—Dozens of Philadelphia Church of God members and staff and Herbert W. Armstrong College students ran in the Swans in Flight 5k on December 13. The fourth annual race on the church and college campus attracted 106 runners from elementary schoolers to senior citizens, along with at least one dog. The event is named for the Sir David Wynne sculpture at Armstrong Auditorium, where the race began and ended.
Herbert W. Armstrong College student Kieren Underwood finished first, with a time of 18:47, followed by students Albert Clarke and Bradley Smithies. Student Erica Irwin led the women with a time of 22:26, followed by students Maree Tolis and Victoria Lancaster. (See the results of the run here.)
