Members Hold Gala in Historic American Location

NEW ENGLAND—The New England Spokesman Club hosted a Ladies’ Gala event at the Publick House Historic Inn and Country Lodge in Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Established in 1771, it is a probability that some of America’s founders once met at this historic location. The club’s motto was “Spokesmen After God’s Own Heart.” Ten members from Philadelphia Church of God congregations in Brunswick, Maine; and Palmer, Massechusetts contributed to the event.

After an active and thought-provoking topics-session presented by Tad Trecker, the Seargent-at-Arms, presented thought-provoking topics. After breaking for a meal, the club resumed with four speeches on a wide range of topics and assignments including instruct, humor, inspire and a TV-style interview. After the speeches, club director David Miller presented graduate certificates to Ed Teti and Joe Jessop. Regional Director Brian Davis concluded with a lecture exhorting club members to excel in making wise decisions. He also reminded the club to prove all things, hold fast and not draw back.
