This slice recipe is simple and easy to make. It can be enjoyed as a slice or as a cheesecake base.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- ⅓ cup Rapadura sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 150 g of unsalted butter, melted (about 11 tbsp)
Instructions
- Mix all dry ingredients together.
- Add butter and honey and mix well.
- Spread in a pan and press firmly so the slice can hold together.
- Bake at 350˚F (180˚C) for about 20 to 30 minutes, or until golden.*
*Bake for less time if you make it as a cheesecake base.
