OHIO—On the evening of January 7, about 100 Philadelphia Church of God members from the Niles, Ohio; Buffalo, New York and Morgantown, Pennsylvania, congregations held a potluck dinner in Niles, with about 70 staying afterward for a games night.
Members shared family recipes to contribute to the dinner. After sunset, setup for a games night began. Members then began playing, rotating through four stations: pipeline, heads-up, team pen and charades.
Deacon Charles Sclavunos said the evening was “a great opportunity to share in fun from the youth to the elderly. There was a lot of cheering, laughing and enthusiastic playing from everyone the whole evening.”
