GEORGIA—On November 13, 2022, Philadelphia Church of God members of the Georgia South and Florida West congregations held their annual yard sale fundraiser.

The setup crew began putting out items early in the morning. The weather was 44 degrees and winds were 14 mph. The brethren prayed for the weather to be favorable for the sale and worked to improve the presentation of the items. The sun came out, but the winds were still strong. Nevertheless, a steady stream of customers began showing up and continued all day. Customers were still arriving after sunset.

Local deacon Will Baker commented that it was successful in more ways than one: “Not only did we raise money for the Work, but there were strong family bonds built. It was a very great day.”

Total sales amounted to $4198.57, and the remaining items were stored in preparation for a spring yard sale.
