ARKANSAS—On Sunday, November 6, 19 members from the Philadelphia Church of God congregation in northwest Arkansas met at JB Hunt Park in Springdale for the annual Gunlap Swans in Flight 5K.

After a chilly start the weather warmed, and runners and walkers took in the autumn colors as they made their way along the 3.1-mile route with a 277-foot elevation change.

Member Alan Baker commented, “The layout for the race was well thought out and easy to follow directions. Those who chose to walk had a wonderful opportunity to fellowship. Perhaps not as much talking for the runners. We were truly blessed with the weather!”

A crowd gathered to cheer on the runners and walkers as they passed the finish line.
