OHIO––With a summertime breeze from the lake, blue skies, the sun shining and the smell of a grilling in the air, about 75 brethren from the Niles and Buffalo congregations held their annual picnic at Lake Milton on August 7.
The new location lent itself to more opportunities for fellowship, family time and a range of activities.
Brethren and kids played cornhole, engaged in a pickup game of volleyball, and chatted with each other. After lunch, families played a round of kickball, followed by games specially designed for the kids.
For the rest of the day brethren fellowshipped, played board games, basketball and volleyball, went tubing on the lake and participated in other activities. In response to prayers from the brethren, summertime showers were kept at bay.
