When it comes to the Bible, most people fall into one of two groups: those who don’t believe the Bible and those who do. But in both cases, most usually have not proved their belief.
How about you? Have you proved the Bible one way or the other? It is vital that you do prove it! Because if the Bible is God’s inspired Word, then your eternity will be judged by it.
How can a person even prove if the Bible is true or false? The Bible is a book that dares to foretell the future! You can look into the prophecies of the Bible and then see if they have come to pass or not.
Of course many prophecies are for the future. But some major prophecies have been fulfilled. History proves these prophecies true. And God tells us to take note of these prophecies and their fulfillment.
“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure” (Isaiah 46:9-10).
Prophecy is a proof of God and the veracity of His Bible. Now a skeptic can easily refuse to look into prophecy and hold on to his skepticism. But God wants us to take a look into His Word. Is it true? Has God made prophecies that have come to pass?
The longest and most detailed prophecy in the Bible is found in Daniel 11-12. This amazing prophecy is very specific in describing historical events that lead up to our time today.
If you study into this prophecy, you can prove the historical fulfillment of God’s Word. And this history should also increase your faith in the fact that the remaining parts of this prophecy will also be fulfilled!
Some amazing and earthshaking events are prophesied to occur soon! And it all culminates in the best news we could hear!
“And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever” (Daniel 12:2-3).
The resurrection of the just will occur at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. God’s Bible prophesies that those who support God’s Work today will shine like the stars in eternal glory! That too is a sure prophecy.
The Bible is full of amazing prophecies. In fact, approximately one third of the Bible is prophecy. And nine tenths of prophecy is devoted to world events that will happen in our time.
