Pastor General Conducts Campaign in Ohio

EDMOND—Philadelphia Church of God Pastor General Gerald Flurry presented a Personal Appearance Campaign in Columbus, Ohio, on November 11-12, 2018.

His first lecture was attended by 276 Philadelphia Trumpet subscribers, 132 of whom were not already members of the Church. His lecture, which fell on Veterans Day, discussed the 100th anniversary of World War I and the current attempt by France and Germany to construct a European army. He emphasized French President Emmanuel Macron’s support for Germany and antipathy for the United States and said that this means the throne of David is at hand. This portion of the campaign can be viewed at theTrumpet.com.

Mr. Flurry’s second lecture was attended by 115 subscribers, 36 of whom were not Church members. His lecture focused on Hebrews 1-5. Following each lecture, he remained at the hall to meet and converse with attendees. The campaign led to five prospective members.
