Imperial Academy Students Participate in Third Science Fair


EDMOND—A total of 40 Imperial Academy high school students presented science projects about ice, plant growth, chemiluminescence, black powder, a wind turbine, a trebuchet and much more on February 15 at the performing arts building on campus for the school’s third annual science fair competition, competing for awards in “Best Science” and “Best Presentation.”

The event included students in ninth-grade Physical Science, taught by Ben Young; 10th-grade Biology and 11th-grade Chemistry, taught by Sarah Evans; and 12th-grade Physics, taught by Travis Lugo. The format consisted of video presentations of local and online students sharing their science projects. Online students and parents watched the fair via live.pcog.org.
