Two congregations spend the day playing softball and Frisbee.

PHILIPPINES—Over 100 members of the Angeles City and Quezon City congregations of the Philadelphia Church of God played softball and Frisbee on December 3 at The Villages, Clark, Pampanga.

The Angeles City women and the Quezon City men prevailed in their respective softball contests against the opposing congregation. The Quezon City men then triumphed, 15-4, against a team of ministers and Philadelphia Youth Camp volunteers led by Preaching Elder Pedrito Cara. After a goat-meat lunch, members learned the basics of Frisbee and then turned the instruction into action.

Member Bemson Santiago remarked, “It really takes patience and self-control … so you can possibly have a high chance of hitting the ball.”

“I was able to reminisce [on] my happy childhood when we used to play softball,” member Ronald Pamintuan said. “I also was glad to play Frisbee with my son.”
