OREGON—Almost 100 members of the Philadelphia Church of God attended the 23rd annual Northwest Winter Weekend from Dec. 24–25, 2016, in Portland.

Saturday night featured a reality television-style entertainment show called “Portland’s Got Talent.” Emcee Robert Brown held a short interview with each singer, instrumentalist and comedian before he or she performed in front of an audience that included four judges. The judges gave positive and humorous feedback for each act.

On Sunday, 60 members gathered at the east Vancouver ymca for a full day of activities, including a rendition of the national anthem by member Amy Hallett, a children’s obstacle course, youth cheerleading, wacky games, and the annual basketball and volleyball tournaments.
