Armstrong College Students Bounce Over to Trampoline Park
High-flying activity stimulates muscles, friendships.

EDMOND—Twenty-two Herbert W. Armstrong College students bounded through the air on December 9 during an informal activity at a local indoor trampoline park. For more than an hour, bodies flew, blood and sweat pumped, and students soared as high as 15 feet above the floor, flinging dodge balls, dunking basketballs and launching themselves onto a giant air bladder.

“One of the greatest benefits of an activity like going to the trampoline park is that you have a lot of fun while working out,” senior Justin Goodearl said. “Jumping around for an extended period of time is a killer workout while having a great time with friends.”

The trampoline park was actually the second workout of the day for the freshmen. “We had just ran a 4-mile CrossFit workout right before we left,” freshman Kyle Amos said, “and all the freshman students’ legs were jelly. So it made it all the more interesting.”

Senior Anya Trietsch, who was among the first-timers to the venue, said, “I thoroughly enjoyed the time we were able to fellowship and be active together with the rest of the AC family.”
