Stephen Flurry is an evangelist in the Philadelphia Church of God (PCG) and has been an ordained minister for 30 years. He serves as executive editor for the Philadelphia Trumpet magazine and theTrumpet.com, president of Herbert W. Armstrong College, and vice president of the Armstrong International Cultural Foundation’s biblical archaeology projects in Jerusalem.
After reading his father’s foundational book, Malachi’s Message, Stephen Flurry left the Worldwide Church of God (WCG) in 1989, becoming one of the PCG’s first members and the first person baptized in the PCG.
From 1997 to 2003, he worked as part of the church’s legal team when the WCG sued the PCG for printing Mystery of the Ages and other books written by Mr. Armstrong. His book, Raising the Ruins, chronicles the lawsuit.
