Carolina Spokesman Club Holds Gala

SOUTH CAROLINA—The Carolina Spokesman Club ladies gala for the 2025–2026 season was held at The Pump House Restaurant on the Catawba River in Rock Hill, South Carolina, on July 26.

The theme for this year’s club was “Rising Lions,” and several new members who began with the club at the start of the season were active participants throughout the year, sharing in this culminating celebration. Three congregations combined for this season’s club meetings, and members said they saw significant growth at every level.

Southeast Regional Director Joseph Short delivered an inspiring message, urging those in attendance to support Pastor General Gerald Flurry, “the apostle of the offensive,” in carrying God’s message out to the world. He wove in Elbert Hubbard’s classic A Message to Garcia, highlighting the importance of courage, initiative and faithful duty. He reminded every man in the club of his responsibility to step up, take the reins, and deliver God’s message through strong, consistent leadership in their congregations.

The evening concluded with the announcement of next year’s officers and the unveiling of the new theme for the 2026–2027 club season: “Soldiers of the Offensive.” With renewed zeal, the club looks forward to another year of growth, service and bold leadership.
