OKLAHOMA–Herbert W. Armstrong College held commencement exercises on May 17, honoring 24 sophomores, and 14 seniors. The students represent six countries and eight American states.

Guests, friends and family members watched as the graduates entered the Armstrong Auditorium theater to selections from “Crown Imperial,” performed by the Armstrong Youth Orchestra. Assistant dean of students Brad Macdonald gave the invocation and welcomed guests, then graduating senior and student body president Aaron Eagle gave the student address, saying it was fitting to compare the 25-year anniversary of the college and the Armstrong education with the precious metal of silver.

“Graduates, as you move on from this precious education,” he said, “allow this education to electrify your life, to add energy and passion to whatever you do.”

Dean of students Stephen Flurry gave a commencement address on growth and fruit, and presented the Armstrong Achievement Award to graduating senior Rebekah Goddard before sophomores and then seniors lined up to receive their diplomas. With the 14 seniors on the stage, Mr. Flurry invited the crowd to join him in congratulating the Herbert W. Armstrong College senior class of 2026.

After greeting, hugging, conversing with and laughing with hundreds of family members, friends, congregation members, ministers and other well-wishers, the graduates went on to dinners, party-hopping and conversations that went into the night.
