On January 17, in memory of the 40-year anniversary of the death of Herbert W. Armstrong, the Burlington Spokesman Club held a special ladies night symposium meeting, with a theme of “four key books of Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong and how they impacted the Church and the World.” Spokesmen and guests from the Chicago, Illinois, and Horicon, Wisconsin, Philadelphia Church of God congregations shared their thoughts on The United States and Britain in Prophecy,Pagan Holidays or Gods Holy Days—Which?,The Incredible Human Potential and Mystery of the Ages, as well as homemade desserts and fellowship.
