PHILIPPINES—The Angeles City Spokesman Club hosted a mid-year ladies night at the Beauté Beanery on the evening of December 14. A total of 55 men and women attended the event, which was held in an intimate rooftop function room overlooking the city lights and a distant mountain range. Dinner was served beneath a lattice of mini lights, creating a warm and elegant atmosphere.
Club director Broderick Tongco remarked that God puts His people in a regal environment to remind them of who they are, and PCG member Aileen Lumpay said, “Ladies night has undoubtedly provided such an atmosphere, taking us away from our daily routines and giving us the opportunity to interact in a truly royal setting.”
The table topics and speaking sessions revolved around the theme “Breaking Through With the New Throne!” The topics session included discussion on what the theme meant personally, and the speeches discussed a first-time flying experience, the benefits of reading Shakespeare, a heroic account of bravery and sacrifice in battle, a story of triumph by a struggling musician, and the meaning of bondage and freedom, which opened with the speaker wearing handcuffs. To conclude the evening, Mr. Tongco delivered a lecture that inspired attendees to passionately love the new stone of destiny.
“The theme was timely and encouraged deep reflection,” PCG member Miraclene Molito said. “The table topics and speeches were beautifully aligned, and it was truly special to witness the men’s thoughtful insights. Each speech captured everyone’s attention, while the evaluations offered meaningful guidance. The added humor throughout the program made the evening even more memorable.”
“This was my first ladies’ night in a field congregation, and it very much reminded me of my experiences at Armstrong College,” Canada PCG member Jenna Natanawan said. “God really blessed the club meeting with thought-provoking table topics and informative, inspiring speeches. I feel like God orchestrated the theme with the Bible study the day before to further emphasize and remind us of our royal calling.”
New club member Bobby Soon, from Hawaii, said, “Upon reflection, Ladies night was very impactful in reinforcing our focus. It inspired me not to let up, but to do more and get ready to help teach all mankind to realize their transcendent spiritual potential and to build the royal Family of God forever!”
“The theme truly made an impact on me,“ PCG member Nestelene Onato said. “The highlight for me was the lecture. It gave a powerful reminder of both the privilege we have and the responsibility to embrace and value the new throne we belong to.”
