Latin America Regional Director Deryle Hope visited the Medellín, Colombia, congregation for the Feast of Trumpets on September 23. The morning service was followed by a potluck meal and fellowship around a large table in the meeting hall.
The following day, Mr. Hope and Medellín deacon Harold Valdés traveled to Panama to finalize details for the Feast of Tabernacles.
The executive for the hotel remarked, “Your group is the most important group that we have had in this hotel.”
The coordinator for the hotel said, “We are waiting for the arrival of your group, with the desire to serve them in any way that we can.”
The administrative assistant to the hotel owner said, “We are ready to do whatever is necessary so that the whole group feels pleased in our hotel.”
This will be the first year the entire Latin America region has been able to share one combined site for the Feast. Mr. Hope said, “In addition to this being a historic first for the region, it will also provide the opportunity for the visit of some very special guests” including Pastor General Gerald Flurry.
