Barbara Flurry Memorial Hall
The 16,000-square-foot Barbara Flurry Memorial Hall was built in 2006 as a $2 million hybrid dormitory and classroom building. Its bottom floor, which contains eight four-bed rooms, originally housed Herbert W. Armstrong College female students, but converted to a men’s dormitory in 2008. Its top floor contains three large classrooms, two small classrooms, a kitchen and laundry room, a sick bay, a formal dining room, four practice rooms and a balcony. Its current configuration was completed prior to the 2017 fall semester by buildings and ground staff members who also remodeled one of the large classrooms into a home economics room with four convection ovens, an island with four cooktops, two vent hoods, two refrigerators and storage cabinets.
