At Petit Jean State Park on June 2, the central Arkansas congregation gathered for their annual summer picnic, a tradition that has been bringing members together for the last 30 years.

One of the event’s highlights was the annual Ladder Ball tournament, where local teen Maverick was victorious for the second consecutive year. In addition to Ladder Ball, members played corn hole and horseshoes, and raced in relays.

The picnic also featured a baking contest, where member Kristen Robinson won first with her tropical cake. Second place was awarded to Brielle Ladenburg with her peach blueberry pie. The third-place winner was Shirley Brown with her lemon icebox pie. For dinner, everyone partook in burgers and hotdogs grilled by the resident grill-masters.
