ILLINOIS—More than 50 members of the Chicago congregation of the Philadelphia Church of God gathered at Wood Dale Grove Park in the city’s suburbs on July 31 for their annual summer picnic.
After a barbecue, many participated in games, including a three-legged race, relays, volleyball and bingo. Some took a walk around the lake or sat and conversed.
Member Brenda Miller said, “The picnic was an awesome opportunity for brethren to get to know each other.”
