ZIMBABWE—Fifty-seven Philadelphia Church of God members shared an activity at the Resthaven Resort outside Harare, Zimbabwe, on October 21. Men, women and children played volleyball and soccer, and children participated in a sack race. Members also played card games, board games and darts together, and shared a meal of beef, chicken, sausages, salads, rolls, sadza and watermelon.
Members also enjoyed conversation with Regional Director Alex Harrison and South Africa-based Local Elder George Githembe.
“The food was spectacular, but the fellowship was the best,” Mr. Harrison said. “It’s very good for the children to have this kind of experience. Children are our future.”
“I have just had a preview of the Feast,” prospective member Good William said about his first Church activity. “I’m looking forward to attending the Feast of Tabernacles.”
